1. Conduct a livelihoods assessment identifying how extractive industry activity has affected a community's income-generating activities.
2. Apply the sustainable livelihoods framework (natural, financial, human, social, physical assets) to a community context.
3. Apply a structured, honest viability checklist to assess proposed enterprise development opportunities.
4. Design a basic sustainable enterprise development or livelihoods diversification pilot plan.
5. Apply a gender-responsive lens to livelihoods and enterprise development planning.
