Learning objectives
1. Appraise the core concepts, theories and debates underpinning youth civic engagement and leadership, situating them within both global scholarship and African lived realities.
2. Formulate practical tools and methods for delivering youth civic engagement and leadership in low-resource, high-need community settings.
3. Investigate how youth civic engagement and leadership intersects with gender, environment, mental health and governance within the SWEEP integrated practice model.
4. Synthesise a workable action plan, case protocol or enterprise concept applying the principles of youth civic engagement and leadership to a real community context.
