Course Overview
This course introduces the core concepts and practices of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) in social work. You'll learn how to recognize mental health and psychosocial needs, provide basic emotional and practical support, apply psychological first aid principles, and facilitate appropriate referrals. By the end of the course, you'll be equipped to promote wellbeing, resilience, and recovery while supporting individuals, families, and communities facing psychological distress and adversity.
