Learning objectives
1.Examine the core concepts, theories and debates underpinning internship and work-readiness programmes, situating them within both global scholarship and African lived realities.
2. Analyse practical tools and methods for delivering internship and work-readiness programmes in low-resource, high-need community settings.
3. Apply how internship and work-readiness programmes intersects with gender, environment, mental health and governance within the SWEEP integrated practice model.
4. Evaluate a workable action plan, case protocol or enterprise concept applying the principles of internship and work-readiness programmes to a real community context.
