Learning objectives
1. Formulate the core concepts, theories and debates underpinning foundations of human rights-based social work, situating them within both global scholarship and African lived realities.
2. Investigate practical tools and methods for delivering foundations of human rights-based social work in low-resource, high-need community settings.
3. Synthesise how foundations of human rights-based social work intersects with gender, environment, mental health and governance within the SWEEP integrated practice model.
4. Examine a workable action plan, case protocol or enterprise concept applying the principles of foundations of human rights-based social work to a real community context.
